Hello. My name is Matthew Murphy. I grew up in Wisconsin fishing the tributaries around the Great Lakes. Early in life, my grandfather, also known as Fritz, taught me how to make my own lures. He had quite an extensive collection himself. It quickly became one of my favorite past times.

Now that my grandfather has passed, I am trying to keep the tradition alive within the family of making our own lures. It is such a fun, relaxing hobby that you can also make a little money from. I want my kids and grand-kids to know the art behind it and how to use lures to successfully catch the “big one”.
